Art Deco Weekend

Mrs Stanley and Kate were both at Art Deco Weekend, last weekend. It was a great celebration of the 1920s/1930s and they both loved dressing up, dancing and eating! Napier had a devastating earthquake in 1931, and as a result, lots of the buildings were rebuilt. Now, Napier is the Art Deco capital of Napier and people from all over the world come to experience the beautiful architecture and history.
