Last night our whole school performed our school production and each house did a different segment about a fractured fairy tale that they made up. It went all to plan and we all had a great night. Here is a picture of our house Sheppard.

Emotions
Since the start of the term we have been looking at change and emotions. At the start of the term we had a puberty lesson and from then on we have moved to change and emotions. We had to choose and emotion and get into buddies. Rayhana and I choose Jealousy and we made a poster every person in the class got in buddies and we choose a different emotion. On Wednesday this week our whole team is going to the movies and we are going to see Inside Out which is about your emotions inside your head. Maybe you guys should go and see the movie too. Also these are the characters from the movie.

Change
We are now starting to look at the concept of change and the feelings that can be associated with change. Students looked at changes that can occur in their own lives. Our next step is to understand these emotions and look at how we cope with them.

Pink Shirt day at Ross
Today is Pink Shirt day! Almost everyone here is wearing pink or red, even Emma who's least favourite colour is pink, so she cuts arm holes in a pink trash bag and wore that over her clothes.
Everyone in room fifteen looks so red/pink. Great job everyone for supporting people to stop bullying.

Morning tea Pink shirt day chalk time
Today at Morning tea Emma brought a small box of sidewalk chalk to school, it didn't last long though, lots of Ross students found their way to the box of chalk and Emma let them join in. Soon the ground was flooded with drawings and artwork of the kids. Everyone enjoyed it and soon all the chalk was devoured, I bet this was a happy Morning tea time for all the kids who got a chance to join in. Lets give a great thank you to Emma for letting us do it with her. Check out the pictures below of Ross intermediates young artists.
Our Terrariums
For Wai Water we made terrariums, in our terrariums a miniature water cycle should occur.

Chalk Art on Ross Grounds
So I brought a box of chalk to school...
It didn't take long before the Ross pavement was covered in drawings by many different students, it was total fun. I need to bring another box again sometime.
